Docs & Developer Tools
Writing and improving documentation and building the tools developers rely on — with training, talks, and a feedback loop back into engineering.

Principal Technical Writer & Principal Engineer
I've spent more than two decades building software for advanced manufacturing — from writing code and architecting Manufacturing Execution Systems to leading engineering teams and developer advocacy. Today I focus on writing and improving the documentation and tools that help developers build on and extend the MES platform at Critical Manufacturing.
My career has followed an uncommon arc: nearly eighteen years at Critical Manufacturing, growing from Software Engineer to Senior Engineer, Technical Manager, MES Technical Architect, and Principal Engineer — Developer Advocate, and now Principal Technical Writer, where I bridge the platform's engineering with the developers who build on top of it.
That path means I've seen manufacturing software from every side: shipping features, designing system architecture for factories that can never stop, managing engineering teams for close to six years, and now writing and improving the documentation and tools that teach developers how to extend a modern MES.
Before that, I built safety- and mission-critical systems at Critical Software and engineered software and systems at DHV Tecnopor — a foundation of rigor I've carried through everything since.
